Kaseifu no Mita

It is one of the recent Japanese TV series I watched....
It is about a family of a single father & 4 kids, whose mother committed suicide. Because the whole house is in a miserable state, the father decided to higher a housekeeper... and of course, the story begins to unfold with Mita's arrival!
From the title "Housekeeper Mita" I thought the drama will only focus on Mita-san, but it mainly focused on the family Mita worked for. Of course of Mita-san's story slowly revealed itself with the help of this dysfunctional family, but that was towards the very end of the drama, which was very frustrating to wait around 3/4 of the drama to know Mita-san's story.

What I didn't liked in this 11-episode-drama is how much it made the father appear as an a**, but I've got to admit, I felt so sorry for him for bearing 4 kids, an angry father in law, a way-too-clumsy sister in law, a disloyal girlfriend, and the whole suicide/death of his wife. Another thing that I don't like in most dramas is the rapid development of characters towards an almost-perfect persona, and that what happened to the family's children: they had a 360 degree change! you can notice that after one big problem their character have changed into this 'Perfect-Child-Mode' !

The reason why I kept watching the series is Mita-san, since most of the episodes focused on the family members. I really wanted to know what happened to Mita-san & why she is acting like a robot.
Her past is really painful and somewhat had an unpleasant impact on her; she took what her mother-in-law said to her for real and actually lived by it for the rest of her life.

One Last Thing:
Song is "Kazuyoshi Saito - Yasashiku Naritai" http://jdramaconfessions.tumblr.com/post/14050211694
