"Mitsu no Aji" is of a 'Daring' theme; forbidden love/incest, which I believe it is the reason for it is low watching rate, otherwise I fascinated by its story and character development.

Naoko |
Naoko, a young lady from one of the village who loves her uncle. She decides to go into a medical school in Tokyo believing that by perusing the same career as her uncle she will stay close to him. As she is under the shock of Tokyo's fast paced life, she gets a greater shock: her beloved uncle is getting married so soon. And that is not the whole story, the events get much more interesting every episode!
Very anticipating, heart-aching, and a little bit uneasy due to the illegitimate relationship which confused me because of what Naoko's father said: Masato (the uncle) is his adopted brother?!

Harada-Kun |
There is a lot to be said about the characters, because most of them showed an interesting side which made me want to know more about each one of them. This drama is exceptional to me, because it was the 1st one to have characters, beside the main ones, who have stirred the events into an unexpected turn. But I will stick to one of the main characters of this series's love-triangle which is Harada-Sensei. She is the strongest woman I have ever seen! The best researcher in Towa Med. School, and the scariest character of all in this series! Most of the uneasy feelings I got while watching was because of her ugly heart! Even one of the nurses said 'Harada-Sensei is scary'. Naoko never calls her by her name, she always refer to here as 'that person'. Even though she is so scary, I still loved her confident and mature-nature.
As for the drama's ending... the following describes exactly I feel about the ending:
Mitsu no Aji's ending left me wanting one more episode, or at least a Special (Tanpatsu).
That's what kept me watching! it was heart-aching enough to make me continue!
ReplyDelete... I guess I have some problems lol
