Hyouka: You can't escape!

Kotenbu's four members find themselves interest in solving mysteries. Three of them depend on the one with the most logical, yet correct, solutions to the mysteries they encounter. This logical-member is Oreki, who thinks joining club activities, mingling with others, making new relationships  falling in love and anything that give's life its "Rosy-Colors" are energy consuming. He goes by his own made Energy-Conservation-philosophy "Don't do things you don't have to do, and rush the things you have to do". In other words, he is a lazy-introverted-bum! in a smart way. Sometimes... Oreki reminds me of someone I know very well... ehm...
Why would someone, who appreciate the "Gray life ", like Oreki would be interested in solving mysteries? isn't that an energy consuming task? well...

Oreki meets the 1st memebr of Kotanbu

It all started when Oreki "Had" to open the literature club on the request of his elder sister who used to be a member of the Kotanbu. And when Oreki went to see the "very far" club room, he met the 1st member of the Kotanbu: Chitanda Eru. Chitanda happened to be the opposite of Oreki, she is social, energetic, smart, and most importantly "very curious". YES, Chitanda's curiosity has captured our Lazy-bum guy attention!

Chitanda: "I'm curious"... Oreki "Shimatta -,-"

Oreki's friend, Fukube, noticed that Chitanda is having an influence on his friend, and tries to make Chitanda more curious about any Mystery that could be solved by Oreki... Although Fukube is as smart as Oreki, but lets Oreki to take all the spot light as the Mystery solver, which slowly make Chitanda grow an admiration of Oreki's logic. And so, we start to feel a little bit of a Romance going on between Oreki and Chitanda. Unlike other Anime where the love sprouts from the 1st moment, Oreki & Chitanda's relationship indeed had that spark in their 1st meeting, but the development of  the relationship was very realistic.

Especially the way they both confessed their interest in each other!

Beware of the Curious people: you can't escape them!

Generally I liked how the mysteries have been solved in this Anime, and my favorite moments were: of course Oreki's Lazy moments!

So, to all of my introverted lazy-bum Himono-Onnas, stay away from very curious guys! Unless you got sick of your Himono-ness and want some big change in your life!
